Samir Kamat

Samir Kamat has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Samir began their career as a Trainee Project Manager at Thermax Babcock and Wilcox in 1996. Samir then worked as a CAD/CAM Software Engineer at NeilSoft in 1997, followed by a role as a Sr. QA Engineer at Ruksun Software Technologies from 1998 to 2000. Samir then joined IDeaS India as a Team Leader from 2000 to 2002. After that, they worked at Geometric Software Solutions as a Manager - Projects from 2002 to 2006, where they were responsible for project and program management. From 2006 to 2009, they held the position of Director - Projects at SNS Technologies (now Forgeahead Solutions), where they worked with fortune 100 customers. In 2009, they founded Ideaom Consulting Services and served as the Founder and Managing Partner until 2011. During this time, they also worked as a Visiting Faculty at Symbiosis Center for Information Technology (2009-2011). Additionally, they held multiple roles at Splashgain Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd. from 2009 onwards, including CEO & Co-Founder for ePravesh (Online Admission Platform), Eklavvya (Assessment Engine) and Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Business Strategies.

From 2001 to 2002, Samir attended Symbiosis International University, where they pursued a PGDFM (Post Graduate Diploma in Finance Management).

Between 1998 and 2000, Samir studied at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, earning an M.S. (Master of Science) degree in Quality Management Systems.

From 1993 to 1997, Samir attended Savitribai Phule Pune University, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E.).

From 1991 to 1993, Samir studied at V G Vaze College, specializing in PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology). Samir obtained a Higher Secondary - XII degree during this time.
