Riikka Nykänen

Riikka Nykänen's work experience includes various roles and responsibilities in different companies. In 2012, they worked as a Sales Promoter at Best Promotions. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Sales Intern at Management Events. Following that, they worked as a Project Manager at Management Events from 2014 to 2015. In 2016, they joined the Finnish Cheerleading Federation as an Event Coordinator, overseeing competitions and reporting to management. In 2017, they became a Co-Owner at Hailey Helsinki, specializing in cheerleading instructions and promotions. Riikka achieved their Master of Sport Sciences degree from the University of Jyväskylä from 2015 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they founded and operated Cheer For All, a fitness concept combining cheerleading and basic fitness movements. Since 2018, they have worked at Splay One, initially as a Project Manager, then as a Sr. Project Manager, and currently as a Creative Team Lead. Starting in 2022, they founded their own company called WOWO vibes.

Riikka Nykänen completed their high school education at Kuninkaantien lukio from 2006 to 2009. Riikka then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Laurea University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Riikka furthered their education at the University of Jyväskylä, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from 2015 to 2017.
