Mick Byrne

Mick Byrne has a strong background in software engineering and development. Mick started their career as a Full-stack Developer at Bowland Solutions in 2013, where they developed online appraisal systems and performance reviews using JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. Mick also refactored existing systems to improve maintainability and initiated an initiative to reduce support by developing solutions to common problems.

In 2015, Mick joined Churchill China plc as a Systems Developer, where they upgraded legacy systems to web applications using Laravel and Vue.js. Mick worked independently as a one-man team during their time there.

In 2017, Mick became a Lead Software Developer at Bytes Software Services. Mick developed an Azure reporting system using microservices built with Laravel and created a frontend portal using Vue.js.
