Ruchi Shah

Ruchi Shah has over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, primarily working in technical design roles. Starting as an intern at Abercrombie & Fitch in 2000, Ruchi went on to hold positions at TSE Cashmere, RMC for Anthropologie, and Talbots. At Talbots, they served as the Director of Technical Design from 2009 to 2015.

In 2015, Ruchi joined The Children's Place as their Director of Technical Design. In this role, they were responsible for product development, fit, construction, production, and quality for various product categories. Ruchi established a block library, created a "How to measure Manual," and trained overseas teams and factories to ensure consistency in product fit and construction. Ruchi also led and mentored a team of five associates, achieving impeccable fit and construction while reducing fit iterations and production cycles.

Currently, Ruchi is the Director of Technical Design at Splendid, a contemporary lifestyle brand, since April 2019.

Ruchi Shah obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Design with a specialization in Fashion/Apparel Design from the University of Cincinnati DAAP. Ruchi pursued their studies at this institution from 1995 to 2000.
