Jelle Rozema is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as Chief Engineer and DYT Newbuild Siteteam Member at DYT Yacht Transport since June 2021. With a career at Spliethoff Group starting in August 2005, Jelle progressed from 3rd Engineer to 2nd Engineer and ultimately to Chief Engineer, overseeing the engine room team and ensuring compliance with safety protocols as outlined in the SOLAS convention. Prior to this, Jelle gained early experience as an Ordinary Seaman on various fishing trawlers from 2001 to 2004. Jelle's educational background includes training at the Maritime Academy IJmuiden and Scheepvaart en Transport College.
