Boris Tabaka

QA Lead at Splio

Boris Tabaka has a variety of work experience in the IT and engineering fields. Boris started their career as a Shop Floor Worker at Michelin in 2012. In 2014, they completed an Application Traineeship at SDCEM, where they worked in the methods office and assisted with equipment development. Boris then worked as a Summer Camp Counsellor at Telligo from 2015 to 2016, responsible for animation development in themed summer camps.

Boris gained experience in software development and quality assurance through their Graduation Internship at Wargaming Seattle in 2016. There, Boris developed automated tests using C# and LUA and familiarized himself with Agile Scrum project management and IT tools such as JIRA and Testrail.

In 2017, Boris joined SoftBank Robotics Europe as a Software QA Engineer, specializing in Python and Java. Boris also worked as an IT Consultant at ALTEN during the same period. Boris later transitioned to the role of QA Lead at Splio in 2019.

Throughout their career, Boris has showcased their technical skills, adaptability, and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.

Boris Tabaka earned a Master's degree in General Engineering from ECAM LaSalle - ECAM Lyon, where they studied from 2011 to 2017. In addition, they received a certification in BAFA from the Ministère de la Jeunesse et du sport in January 2014.
