Miriam Bearden

Miriam Bearden, HCCP, CPO, has extensive experience in accounting and operations within the finance industry. Beginning a career at Trustmark National Bank as an Investor Accounting Coordinator, Miriam progressed to D.E. Crawford and Company as a Staff Accountant, and later served as Investor Accounting Supervisor at Secor Bank. At SPM, LLC, Miriam held multiple roles including Assistant Controller and, from January 2017 onward, took on the position of Regulatory Coordinator and Director of Management Information Systems and Occupancy. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing a team managing affordable housing properties, coordinating software activities, ensuring compliance with IRS and state regulations, and conducting on-site audits. Miriam holds a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi State University.
