Peter Takacs

Peter Takacs is an experienced quality assurance professional with extensive expertise in the brewing industry. As the QA Manager at Spoetzl Brewery since 1997, Peter established the quality assurance department, formulated beer recipes, developed advanced information systems, designed a new QA laboratory, and supervised an intern program for 18 years. Peter has also contributed to the field through multiple publications in the American Society of Brewing Chemists and the Master Brewery Association of the Americas, and has served as a keynote speaker at various technical brewing forums. Prior to Spoetzl Brewery, Peter held positions at Stroh Brewery as Assistant QA Manager, Pittsburgh Brewing Co as QA Manager, Blitz-Weinhard Brewing Company as QA Technician, and Pabst Brewing Company as a Microbiologist.
