Adam Goldstein

Chief Technology Officer at Spoiler Alert

Adam Goldstein has worked in the software engineering industry since 2005. Adam began their career as a Web Developer at Brandeis University, where they developed and maintained my.brandeis.edu in TCL, HTML, and SQL for students. In 2006, they took on an internship as a Product Management Programming Intern at GEICO, where they co-wrote and designed an application in Visual Basic .NET, using SQL to draw from billions of cells of data. In 2007, they worked as a Summer of Code at Google, where they designed and created in Java a means to check and set cross-protocol profile information.

In 2009, Adam worked as a Senior Developer at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they programmed in Ruby on Rails for ASSISTments, an Intelligent Tutoring System. Adam also implemented Bayesian Knowledge Tracing in Ruby and JavaScript. That same year, they took on a role as an Assistant Software Engineer at Charles River Analytics, where they tested and developed in Java for SPARTEN, a program that uses evolutionary algorithms to automate coordinating routes for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.

Adam then worked at MITRE from 2011 to 2013 as a Senior Software Systems Engineer, where they programmed in Ruby on Rails for ONC funded OSS healthcare projects. Adam also wrote CoffeeScript to automatically generate executable JavaScript as MapReduce jobs via MongoDB.

In 2013, Adam joined MeYou Health as a Managing Engineer and Rails Engineer. In their role as Managing Engineer, they managed 7 engineers across multiple products and disciplines. Adam also reviewed 15five reports and ran 1-1s. As a Rails Engineer, they programmed in Ruby on Rails and Javascript for digital well-being interventions.

Adam currently works at Spoiler Alert as the Chief Technology Officer, VP of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Technical Lead.

Adam Goldstein attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2009 to 2011, where they earned an MS in Computer Science. Adam then attended Brandeis University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a BA in Computer Science and East Asian Studies. During their time at Brandeis, they also attended Kyoto University from 2007 to 2008 to study Intensive Japanese.
