Pooya Karimian

Pooya Karimian currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Linktree and as an Advisor at Attesto. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Meta from December 2013 to October 2022 as a Software Engineer, contributing to Business Messaging, Video In-stream Ads, Messenger Rooms, and Real-Time Infrastructure. Earlier roles include Senior Software Developer at Sencha, Inc., Lead Frontend Developer at Zite, Inc., and Senior Web Developer at Worio, where Pooya played a key role in developing a personalized magazine app and a discovery engine. Additional experience includes a developer position at Sxip Identity and co-founding Netbill, an ISP accounting software that was acquired by Ghasedak. Pooya holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
