Nicolas Jey Wong

Nicolas Jey Wong has a diverse work experience. In 2016, they participated in the Civitaskolen program, a program for aspiring leaders in the Norwegian youth politics organized by the liberal think tank Civita. In 2017/18, they were a participant in the Young Ambassadors Program, a supplement to high school for committed Norwegian students. In 2019, they were elected as a Representative for the Ullern District Council, one of the 15 decentralized public administration districts in the City of Oslo. Nicolas Jey also worked at Spond, a Norwegian scale-up, as an Intern, Project Manager, and Head of Payment Services. In 2021, they began working as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Nicolas Jey Wong is currently pursuing a Master of Technology (MTech) in Industrial Economics & Technology Management at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2019 to 2024. Nicolas Jey is also pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics at NTNU from 2019 to 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Specialization in General Studies with STEM from Oslo Handelsgymnasium from 2015 to 2018. In October 2022, they obtained a Machine Learning Specialization from Coursera. In July 2022, they obtained dbt Fundamentals from dbt Labs. In April 2021, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
