Paula Olsiewski

Paula Olsiewski has a comprehensive work experience that includes various roles in different organizations. Their most recent position is as a Contributing Scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security since November 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Director at the Critical Path Institute (C-Path) starting from June 2015. Before C-Path, Paula was the Chair of the Homeland Security Research Subcommittee of the BOSC at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) starting from January 2014. Paula also worked as the Director at the Spondylitis Association of America from June 2013. Earlier in their career, Paula worked as a Program Director at the Alfred P Sloan Foundation from October 2000 until December 2020. Finally, they served as a Corporation Member at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from July 2003 to June 2009.

Paula Olsiewski holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biological Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to earning their Ph.D., they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at Yale University.
