Mary Beth Kyer, CPA CMA, began their work experience as a Financial Services Manager at Export Development Canada from 1993 to 1997. Mary Beth then worked as a Consultant at Infor from 2003 to 2007. In 2000, Mary Beth became the Principal Consultant at Euphoria Interactive, where they focused on talent, training, and solutions. In 2015, they co-founded Sponsor Circle Inc. and served as a Marketing Strategist, simplifying the business of events and sports teams. Mary Beth'smost recent role, starting in 2020, is as Treasurer and Board Member at Festivals & Events Ontario, where they support the growth of the festival and event industry in the province.

Mary Beth Kyer, CPA CMA has a diverse education history in the field of finance, accounting, and learning and technology. Mary Beth holds a Masters Graduate Diploma in Learning and Technology from Royal Roads University, which they completed from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation with a specialization in Management Accounting (CMA) from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, completing their studies from 1998 to 2002.

Mary Beth Kyer's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Comm) degree in Finance and International Business from the University of Ottawa, which they completed from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, they briefly attended Lund University in 1993 and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on International Marketing.

Continuing their professional development, Mary Beth Kyer plans to pursue a Change Management Professional Certification from Acuity Institute, which they are expected to complete in 2023-2024.

In addition to their formal education, Mary Beth Kyer has obtained other certifications. Mary Beth earned a Fierce Founders certificate from Fierce Founders in February 2020. Mary Beth also holds an Open Water Diver certification from PADI, which they obtained in May 2008.
