Santiago José Gómez Sánchez

Santiago José Gómez Sánchez has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Santiago José began their career as a Junior Developer at Campo Santo Parques de la Paz in 2008. In 2009, they moved to Intergrupo as a Consultant Staff. In 2012, they joined Fondo de Cesantía del Magisterio Ecuatoriano as a Member of the Ethics Committee - SBS, Project Management Assistant, and Database and Business Intelligence Architect. In 2014, they became a Strategic Planning and Business Intelligence Analyst at FCME-fcpc. In 2015, they joined Semgroup as a Big Data Arquitect - Partner. In 2017, they became a Business Intelligence and Database Administration Expert at Freelance Advisor. Most recently, in 2018, they joined Spoonity Inc. as a Business Intelligence Director, Software Development Director (Ecuador), and Business Developer/Data Scientist.

Santiago José Gómez Sánchez has a diverse educational background. Santiago José obtained a Bilingual Bachelor in Computer Science from the Instituto Particular Abdón Calderón in 1995-2001, a Computer Systems Engineer from the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil in 2001-2009, and a Master in Business Intelligence from OBS Business School in 2016-2017. Santiago José also holds several certifications, including a Data Scientist with Python Track from DataCamp in 2021, a Programa Especializado - Data Engineering, Big Data, and Machine Learning on GCP from Coursera in 2021, a Specialization - From Data to Insights with Google Cloud from Coursera in 2021, an MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in 2012, an MCITP: Business Intelligence Developer 2008 from Microsoft in 2011, and an MCTS: SQL Server 2008, Business Intelligence Development and Maintenance from Microsoft in 2011.
