Valerio della Sala, PhD, is an accomplished professional in the fields of remote sensing, geography, and sport management, currently serving as Head of R+D+I Remote Sensing Projects at elittoral since March 2024. Concurrently, Valerio holds roles as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna. Valerio founded and leads Sport Business Lab Consultancy, engaging in strategic planning and business development. An active editorial member for multiple journals, Valerio evaluates research and shapes journal directions, focusing on sociological aspects and earth sciences. With a robust academic background, including a PhD in Geography and additional studies in Urban and Regional Planning and Sport Management, Valerio collaborates with various stakeholders on research and conservation projects, significantly contributing to environmental monitoring and sport management education.
