Abigail Hurrell

Abigail Hurrell is an experienced investment partner at Sport England since July 2020, leading investments that support LSEG communities and local delivery while also developing the Small Grant programme and conducting System Partner assessments. In addition, Abigail serves as Charity Director for The Vitiligo Society, overseeing operational processes and managing finances. Abigail's extensive experience includes roles as Combat Medical Technician with the UK Ministry of Defence, Operations Manager at Royal Voluntary Service, and Community Volunteering Development Officer at Blind Veterans UK. Abigail has also held positions as Volunteering Coordinator at Queen Mary, University of London, Volunteer Coordinator at Kingston University, and Volunteer Brokerage Officer at Groundwork London. Abigail earned a degree in Philosophical Studies with a focus on Applied Ethics from the University of Wales, Lampeter.
