Andrew Pearson

Andrew Pearson is an experienced professional in the field of sports and leisure management. Currently serving as a Capital Investment Manager at Sport England since October 2015, Andrew oversees significant investments into active well-being and leisure facilities. Prior to this role, Andrew worked at Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council for seven years, first as a Health Improvement Commissioner managing leisure contracts and later as the Sports and Leisure Development Manager leading strategic initiatives for sports and leisure. Andrew's career began at Hartlepool Borough Council, where duties included managing parks and countryside services. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science from the University of Chester, earned between 1993 and 1996.
