Rob Hartley

Rob Hartley has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rob currently serves as the Head of Loan Operations and Contracts at Sport England. Prior to this, they held positions such as Delivery Manager - Business Transformation, Senior Operations Manager - Special Projects Unit, Project Manager - Children & Young People, Investment Manager, and Investment Advisor at the same organization. Alongside their role at Sport England, they also serve as the Vice-Chair and Board Trustee at the Youth Enterprise & Employability Academy. Additionally, Rob has served as an Independent Non-Executive Director at British Skydiving. In the past, they worked as a Contract Event Staff at Flair Event Staffing & Management Ltd and served as the Venue Manager for the World Taekwondo Championships in 2019. Furthermore, they held positions at the British Judo Association, including Head of Events and Competitions, Events Manager, and Competitions and Events Officer. Rob also oversaw various judo events as the Event Director for the 2018 Veteran European Judo Championships and as the Event Logistics Manager for the INAS European ID Judo Championships. Rob has also worked as the Event Manager and LOC Chair for the 2017 IBSA Senior European Judo Championships. Before that, they gained experience as an Event Coordinator at Special Olympics Great Britain.

Rob Hartley's education history is as follows:

From 2016 to 2017, they attended the Institute of Commercial Management and received a Diploma in Sport Event Management with a high distinction (86%).

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA) at the University of Bradford.

Rob'sundergraduate education was completed at the University of Bradford from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History and Politics.

Before entering university, from 2009 to 2011, they attended Nelson and Colne College and obtained A-Levels in History, Politics, and English Literature.

Lastly, from 2004 to 2009, they completed their GCSEs at West Craven High Technology College.

Additionally, Rob Hartley has obtained various certifications, including PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation, IOSH Managing Safely, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, COSHH Awareness, and Fire Warden / Fire Marshall. Rob also has certifications in Scrum Factory, Rugby Ready, Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Level 1 Men's Lacrosse Referee, Level 1 Women's Lacrosse Umpire, UKCC Level 2 Badminton Coaching, and UKCC Level 1 Badminton Coaching.
