Brian McClelland is a seasoned Sports Performance Analyst with extensive experience in performance analysis across various sports including Gaelic football, hurling, soccer, hockey, and rugby. Currently serving as a Sports Performance Analyst at Sport Ireland since September 2019 and as the owner of BMac Performance Analysis since August 2016, Brian specializes in capturing multi-angle video footage, providing objective analysis, generating reports, and supplying video feedback. Previously, Brian was the Lead Performance Analyst for Armagh GAA from January 2016 to December 2022, where responsibilities included live in-game analysis and training load monitoring. Other roles encompass positions at STATSports and the Irish Rugby Football Union, along with experiences as a Performance Analyst and Strength and Conditioning Coach for Armagh GAA, and as a Sports Science Support Intern at Ulster GAA. Brian holds a Master of Science in Sports Performance Analysis from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Studies from Ulster University.
