Chris Metz

Chris Metz is a co-owner of The Record Pub, established in January 2021, located in Portland’s Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood, specializing in rock-based records, vintage stereo equipment, and beverages. Since August 2020, Chris has served as a Content Marketing Specialist for Sport Oregon. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor of Communications at Washington State University Vancouver and Marketing Specialist at Allied Works. Notably, Chris spent nearly two decades with the Portland Timbers, culminating in the position of Vice President Communications. Chris's writing experience spans various freelance roles with The Oregonian, Argus Leader, and The Associated Press. Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from the University of Oregon.
