Laurence Herbert is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and product management. Currently serving as the VP of Software at Sportable since July 2024, Laurence previously held the position of Software Product Director at Graphcore from April 2019 to July 2024, focusing on AI products for data centres. Prior to Graphcore, Laurence worked at Dyson as Software and Architecture Manager, where innovative software teams were built to enhance connectivity and architecture. Laurence's experience also includes a role as Technical and Software Director at TgK Scientific Limited, overseeing multidisciplinary teams in the Life Sciences sector, and positions as Software and Electronics Engineer at Hi-Tech Ltd, and Systems Engineer at the University of Exeter. Laurence holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Exeter, completed in 1999.
