Peter McNeil is a Senior Software Engineer at Sportable since August 2022, with previous experience at BBC from July 2017 to August 2022, where responsibilities included leading the technical delivery for the Elections team and developing a new elections platform that reached over 20 million unique browsers. Peter has a strong background in backend systems, contributing to various projects that involve high-scale data processing and user engagement for BBC News products. A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Software Engineering from the University of Brighton, Peter has also served as a Student Assistant, providing support in coding and programming concepts.
