Alyssa Villalon M.A. is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in youth sports, counseling, and education. Currently serving as a Growth Coach at Sportball since 2005, Alyssa fosters a love of sports among children across Texas and the US. In addition, Alyssa manages Austin Babyproofing Company and held the role of Program Director/Owner at Sportball Austin until October 2023. Previous positions include LPC-I LMFTA at Pflugerville Counseling Center and Counselor at Central Texas Play Therapy Center, specializing in ADHD and family dynamics. Alyssa also founded Teachers2U to enhance educational experiences for families during the COVID-19 pandemic through learning pods. Alyssa earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from St. Edward's University and holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology from Colorado State University.

Sportball has been encouraging kids to “play with passion, play for fun” since 1995, when we first introduced our innovative multi-sport programming. Sportball began in 1995 with just 3 children and a single location. The company began franchising in 2005, and today is proud to offer programs in more than 500 locations in Canada, the United States and Singapore. Sportball was one of the first programs of its kind to focus on building developmentally appropriate skills through non-competitive sports, games and activities – and the company keeps evolving to make sure that it delivers the best in sports programming for kids under 12, whether that means partnering with leading research institutions, offering adapted programs or working with schools to enhance existing physical education programs.
