Darko Striga

Darko Striga has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

- From October 2019 to the present, they have been working as a Technical Lead at Sportening.

- From April 2015 to October 2019, they served as the Social Data Analytics group lead at the Social Networking and Computing Laboratory.

- From September 2014 to October 2019, Darko worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at FER, and prior to that, from September 2011 to September 2014, they were a Research Associate at the same institution.

- Darko also worked as an Information Technology Consultant at Godbex (a startup) from February 2018 to January 2019.

- From 2013 to 2015, they were a Software Engineer at Dzangol (another startup).

- Lastly, as a Student Assistant at FER, Darko gained work experience from September 2006 to February 2007.

Darko Striga's education history begins in 2006 with their enrollment at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computing with a focus on Telecommunications and Informatics in 2009. Darko then pursued further education at the same institution and received a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Information and communication technology (Telecommunication and Informatics) with high honors (Magna cum laude) in 2011.

In 2010, Darko also attended the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Economics with a specialization in Business Planning and Analysis in 2012.

Continuing their academic journey, Darko enrolled at the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science in 2018.

Additionally, Darko Striga has obtained certifications in JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures Masterclass as well as Master the Coding Interview: Data Structures + Algorithms. Both certifications were obtained from Udemy in June 2019.
