Chris Newton

Chris Newton is the President & CEO and founder of SportGait, Inc. who leads the company in all corporate & product strategy, operations, regulatory compliance, and sales & marketing.

Chris is an award-winning, high-growth, CEO with 30 years of professional experience. As CEO, Chris has led vastly different companies in Biotech, Software, IoT, and Environmental markets by creating a myriad of products and services taking each company from pre-revenue to multimillion-dollar revenues. Along the way, he has launched six multi-million-dollar, award-winning products across diverse markets and companies, guiding development from concept to reality. Chris has also co-invented two patents.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in marine engineering from U.S. Merchant Academy and a master’s degree in management studies from North Carolina State University.
