Anindya Kar

Anindya Kar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2007, they served as Vice President of Rates & FX Structuring at Merrill Lynch. From 2009 to 2015, they worked as an Executive Director, leading the derivatives structured products business at Standard Chartered Bank in the Middle East and Africa. In 2015, Anindya co-founded LearnPick, a tutoring platform where they served as the Co-Founder & President until 2019. During their time at LearnPick, they played a crucial role in driving product and growth, expanding the platform to over 200,000 tutors and 50,000+ classes globally. In 2019, they briefly served as the Director of Global Partnerships at The Blockchain Hub. Anindya's entrepreneurial journey continued in 2020 when they founded MindKraft Education Inc., a STEM education business with 11 learning centers and camps in Canada. Through remote and in-person classes, they successfully taught over 10,000 students in a span of 2 years. Currently, Anindya is adding another accomplishment to their resume as the Co-Founder of Sportiqo, which began in June 2022.

Anindya Kar completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering degree from Jadavpur University. In terms of additional certifications, Anindya Kar obtained a Data Analyst with Python certification from DataCamp in 2018. Anindya also acquired the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in the same year. Lastly, they have a Pragmatic Marketing Certified - Level Three certification in Product Management, from Pragmatic Marketing. The year of obtaining this certification is unknown.
