Nicola da Rold

Nicola Da Rold has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Currently, they are the Operations Director at La Sportiva since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Safilo where they held various positions such as Global Industrial Engineering and Product Supply Digital Transformation Associate Director, Industrial Engineering Senior Manager, R&D Product Specialist, Innovation Specialist, Production Planning and Logistics Manager, Production Manager, EHS Manager, Maintenance Engineer, and Process Engineer. Nicola has also served as a Membro Esperto Commissione VIA at Provincia di Belluno and worked as a Process Engineer at Piazza Rosa Srl Lucidatura Stampi and Carma Srl detersivi liquidi. Additionally, they completed their Servizio Militare at Arma dei Carabinieri.

Nicola Da Rold has a diverse education history. In 1986 to 1991, they attended Liceo Scientifico G.Galilei Belluno, where they obtained a Diploma with a field of study in Maturità scientifica. From 1992 to 1999, Nicola pursued higher education at Università degli Studi di Padova, earning a degree in Dottore Chimica Industriale with a specialization in Chimica Industriale. In 1997, they briefly attended Newcastle University for a Research Project in Molecular Toxicology. Later, in 2017 to 2019, Nicola enrolled in a two-year course at Istituto Zaccagnini, studying to become an Ottico and gaining the necessary qualifications in the field.
