Frederic Hurtubise

Frederic Hurtubise has been working in the software development industry since 1997. From 1997 to 1999, they worked as a Web PERL Programmer at Videotron. From 1999 to 2003, they worked as a Web PERL Senior Programmer and Custom Installations Manager at Opendesk. From 2003 to 2008, they worked as a Web PERL Senior Programmer at Canoe. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Web PHP Senior Programmer at Turbulent. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Web PHP Senior Programmer at Virtual Paper. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Lead Web Developer and Technical Director at Shutterstock's PremiumBeat.com. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Backend Developer at Sportlogiq. Since 2019, they have been working as a Team Lead Backend Developer at Sportlogiq, where they have managed a team of 8 developers, managed resources, assigned tasks, reviewed code, provided technical analysis, and supported delivery and operations. Frederic has also been responsible for several technical achievements, including establishing processes, reducing development time, and developing an API with OpenAPI.

Frederic Hurtubise began their educational journey at ESMC from 1986 to 1991, where they did not pursue a degree. Frederic then attended CEGEP St-Jean-sur-Richelieu from 1991 to 1993, where they earned a DEC in Sciences Humaines, opt Administration. From 1993 to 1997, Hurtubise attended Université du Québec à Montréal and studied Informatique de gestion. During this time, they also attended State University of New York College at Plattsburgh from 1994 to 1995 and studied Computer Science. In October 2016, Hurtubise obtained a ScrumMaster certification from Pyxis Technologies.
