Jason Gibson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jason most recently served as the Chief Marketing Officer at SportPesa starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at BetLion from 2019 to 2023, where they also served as the Head of Marketing from 2019 to 2021. Before that, Jason was the General Manager at Kupatana AB from 2017 to 2019, where they managed the company's marketing, sales, and operations. Jason also worked as the General Manager at Sokowatch from 2016 to 2017, where they oversaw the last mile trade distribution operation. Additionally, Jason worked as an Operations Manager at BRANDWORX from 2014 to 2016, responsible for managing a team and capturing data for a route plan management system. Jason started their career as a Claims Specialist at Alexander Forbes from 2012 to 2014.
Jason Gibson attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Economic and Management sciences. Additionally, they obtained a BA in Business and Public Management from the University of Pretoria in November 2012.
