Mwirigi Imungi

Mwirigi Imungi has extensive work experience in various financial and managerial roles. Mwirigi started their career as an intern at Peoples Energy in 2005 and later worked as an analyst at The Energy Coalition. In 2009, they joined the Pacific Gas and Electric Company as a Sr. Case Manager. Mwirigi then moved on to QIL Kenya as a General Manager in 2013. In 2014, they became the Group Treasurer at East African Breweries Ltd. Most recently, they have been serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Sportpesa since September 2018.

Mwirigi Imungi's education history begins in 1998 when they enrolled at the University of Nairobi. Mwirigi completed their bachelor's degree in Economics in 2002. Following this, in 2003, they attended Illinois State University and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Applied Economics, which they completed in 2005. Continuing their educational journey, Mwirigi Imungi attended San Francisco State University from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Accounting and Finance.
