Ali Al Shehri currently serves as the Head of Technology at the Sports Boulevard Foundation since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles at a Confidential Government entity, where Ali held positions as Director of Information Technology and Senior Information Technology Manager from September 2018 to December 2021. Prior to that, Ali worked at Tatweer Company for Educational Services Ltd. as Application Development Manager and Unit Head - Application Development between April 2014 and September 2018, and was a Team Leader at King Saud University from June 2013 to April 2014. Earlier experience includes a Senior Software Developer role at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saudi Arabia, and at King Saud University, as well as an Application Programmer position at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund. Ali Al Shehri earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from King Saud University between 2003 and 2007, following high school education focused on Science from Abdulrahman Al Ghafgi from 2000 to 2003.

Sports Boulevard project is one of Riyadh’s Four Mega projects launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, on 19 March 2019. The project will be innovative destination that contributes to fulfilling a key goal of the Saudi Vision 2030 to promote Riyadh’s position among the world’s most livable cities. Sports Boulevard is the largest linear park and a widespread destination that attracts pedestrians, professional and amateur cyclists, and horse riders, alongside art and culture enthusiasts and eco-friends, altogether, on paths and spaces that create a healthy lifestyle.
