Brecht Van Acker is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in architecture and business management. Currently serving as Senior Design Manager at Sports Boulevard Foundation since September 2022, Brecht previously held various positions at Populous, including Associate and Senior Designer, from February 2019 to September 2022. As the Founder of Rond ltd, a design consultancy firm focused on business, interior, and architectural design, and Co-Founder of RadixCube, an enterprise aimed at developing sustainable communities, Brecht exhibits a strong commitment to social responsibility. Brecht's early career includes project management and design roles at MAD Architects and Crossboundaries, as well as an architectural internship at Architectenbureau A. Van Acker. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in entrepreneurship from Hult International Business School and dual degrees in Architecture from Sint-Lucas / KU Leuven.

Sports Boulevard project is one of Riyadh’s Four Mega projects launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, on 19 March 2019. The project will be innovative destination that contributes to fulfilling a key goal of the Saudi Vision 2030 to promote Riyadh’s position among the world’s most livable cities. Sports Boulevard is the largest linear park and a widespread destination that attracts pedestrians, professional and amateur cyclists, and horse riders, alongside art and culture enthusiasts and eco-friends, altogether, on paths and spaces that create a healthy lifestyle.
