Ben Fischer

Ben Fischer is an experienced journalist specializing in sports, health care reporting, and public affairs. Fischer's career includes roles as an NFL reporter and staff writer for Sports Business Journal/Daily from April 2015 to May 2019, as well as experience covering the NFL and Olympics in a brief position. Prior to that, Fischer served as the only New York-based reporter for the New York Business Journal, focusing on significant regulatory battles and the evolution of digital media. Fischer's reporting experience also includes coverage of the Mid-Atlantic health care industry's changes post-Affordable Care Act for the Washington Business Journal, and urban education issues for The Cincinnati Enquirer, specifically within the Cincinnati Public Schools system. Fischer holds a Bachelor of Science in Newspaper Journalism from Kent State University and a Master of Arts in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois Springfield.
