Mariah Blake is an author currently working on a book about forever chemicals. Prior to this role, Mariah has held various positions in journalism, including being a Murrey Marder Nieman Fellow in Watchdog Journalism at Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University, a senior reporter at Mother Jones, and a freelance journalist for various publications such as The Atlantic, The Nation, and Foreign Policy. Mariah has also served as a special correspondent at The New Republic and as an editor at The Washington Monthly. With a graduate degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Barnard College, Mariah has a strong background in writing and reporting.

Today Crown Publishing Group is its own division within Penguin Random House and is home to several imprints including Clarkson Potter, Crown, Currency, Ten Speed Press, Watson-Guptill, and 4 Color Books.
