Mary Moates

Mary Moates is an experienced publicity professional currently serving as Associate Director of Publicity at Crown Publishing since September 2023. Previously, Moates worked at St. Martin's Press from March 2020 to March 2023, where roles included Senior Publicity Manager and Publicity Manager. Moates also held various positions at Penguin Random House from May 2016 to March 2020, including Publicist, Associate Publicist, and Publicity Assistant. Earlier experience includes serving as a Digital Marketing Assistant at Tor/Forge Books and Communications Assistant at Maryville College, where media releases and alumni materials were developed.
