Jeffery Salter

Jeffery Salter is an experienced photographer and creative director specializing in advertising, magazine, lifestyle, fitness, and people photography. Since June 1996, Jeffery has been with J Salt Inc as a Photographer and Director. In November 2000, Jeffery established Jeffery Salter Photography, focusing on directing talent and creating visual concepts for print media. As a contributing photographer for Sports Illustrated since June 2007 and Redux Pictures since 1995, Jeffery produces images for various magazines worldwide. Jeffery previously served as a staff photographer for Sports Illustrated from 2001 to 2007, covering prominent professional athletes, and for The New York Times from 1999 to 2001, capturing portraits of notable cultural arts figures. Earlier career positions included staff photographer roles at The Miami Herald and New York Newsday. Jeffery holds a photojournalism certificate from Syracuse University and completed photography training at the U.S. Navy School of Photography.
