Stephanie Apstein

Stephanie Apstein is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in sports writing. Currently serving as a Senior Writer at Sports Illustrated since June 2011, Apstein has held various roles at the publication, including Staff Writer, Reporter, and Editorial Intern. Prior to this, Apstein contributed as a freelance writer and photographer for ESPNNewYork.com in March 2011 and completed a sports internship at The Hartford Courant from January to May 2010. Apstein's editorial leadership was demonstrated while serving as Sports Editor and Editor-in-Chief for The Trinity Tripod from September 2006 to May 2010. Academically, Apstein holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Italian from Trinity College-Hartford, alongside a study abroad program in History at Université Paris-Sorbonne.
