Jordan Rutner has a wealth of experience in the sports and entertainment industry. Jordan began their career in 2011 as the Director of Alumni Relations and Director of Community Service for Beta Theta Pi. In 2013, they became the Marketing and Promotions Assistant for the University Athletic Association at the University of Florida. Jordan also held roles as the Recruitment Captain for Dance Marathon at the University of Florida, Director of Sponsorship for Dream Team at the University of Florida, and Intern, Corporate Partnerships for the Tampa Bay Rays. In 2016, Rutner joined Whitecap Sports Group as an Associate, where they were involved in business development and creating content for the sports business blog. In 2017, they became the Business and Customer Analytics Resident for the Tampa Bay Rays, and in 2018 they joined KORE Software as the Co Host of Behind the Business of Sports (BS) Podcast, Research Manager, Senior Analyst, and Analyst, Insights & Analytics. Finally, in 2022, they were appointed as the Director of Analytics for Sports Innovation Lab.
Jordan Rutner obtained a Dual Degree Program from the University of Florida, earning a BSBA in Finance and a BS in Sport Management (Cum Laude). Jordan then went on to receive an MBA and MS in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Additionally, they hold certifications from Udemy in Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp, from Front Office Sports in Sports Marketing Essentials, and from Microsoft in Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2013.
