George Blake has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2013, they worked as a Planning and Delivery Consultant for World Rugby, focusing on the Rugby World Cup 2015. In 2014, they joined CSM Sport & Entertainment as a Director of Strategy & Events. At the University of Exeter, they worked as a Lecturer in the Business School from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, they became a Project Director for Lapwing International, where they oversaw the FIFA Football World Cup 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Lecturer in International Events Management at Bournemouth University. George then took on the role of Project Lead for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games at STH Japan from 2018 to 2022. In 2022, they founded Digby Nalu Ltd, focused on business development. George also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco and is currently in a Business Development & Relationship Management role at Arena Europe, Middle East & Asia.
George Blake's education history includes a Master's degree in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco, which they obtained between 1996 and 1998. Prior to that, between 1982 and 1985, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Combined Honours, specializing in Geography & Geology, from the University of Exeter.
