Greg Birbeck

Greg Birbeck has a diverse range of work experience in the travel and procurement industry. Greg started their career as a Travel Consultant at STA Travel, where they provided travel advice and booked various travel documents. Greg then worked as a Tour Guide at Stray Travel, helping clients travel throughout Europe. After returning to New Zealand, they became a Head Guide at Stray Travel.

Birbeck further developed their expertise in procurement as the Head of Procurement at Chillisauce, overseeing product content and imagery for the company's Stag, Hen, and Activity divisions. Greg then joined Your Golf Travel Limited as a Product Manager, responsible for managing the company's products.

In 2014, Birbeck joined All Blacks Tours as a Procurement Manager, implementing and maintaining the company's procurement strategy. Greg managed procurement activities, developed procedures and contracts, and built relationships with key suppliers. Greg held this role until 2020.

Currently, Birbeck is the Head of Travel Procurement at STH Group, where they focus on managing the procurement requirements for the Rugby World Cup 2023. Greg oversees procurement activities for Australia, Japan, and New Zealand.

Greg Birbeck attended Sacred Heart College Auckland from 1990 to 1995. During this time, they obtained a B Bursary in Across all subjects.
