Samuel Menaker

Samuel Menaker has extensive experience in technology and engineering roles. Samuel is currently the Chief Technology Officer/Founder of Sportsbox AI since January 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at AI THINKTANK in 2020.

From 2019 to 2020, Menaker worked as the Senior Director of Engineering and Professional Services at Cerence Inc. (formerly Nuance Communications), where they were responsible for delivering the Cerence Personal Assistant Platform for major OEMs.

Before that, Menaker held the position of Senior Director of Engineering and Professional Services, Automotive at Nuance Communications from 2018 to 2020. In this role, they played a leading role in the acquisition and integration of Voicebox Technologies, and led the team in delivering both current and new projects.

Menaker's career began at Voicebox Technologies in 2004, where they worked as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Chief Software Architect until 2018. During this time, they were responsible for designing and implementing the VoiceBox Hybrid Platform, which included multi-modal voice recognition/NLU systems for various consumers, connected cars, and phone-based products.

Samuel also has experience as a Software Architect at Chameleon Technology from 2002 to 2004, and as a Software Architect/Senior Software Engineer at Amazon.com from 1997 to 2002.

Samuel Menaker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. Samuel obtained their degree in Applied Mathematics from Latvijas Universitate, although the specific year of completion is not provided.
