Chris Bryant is an experienced professional in sports development, specializing in cycling and community engagement. Currently serving as the Club and Community Development Officer for Scottish Borders Council, Chris supports athletes, coaches, and clubs across the region. With a long-standing role as a Tutor for Cycling Scotland and sportscotland, Chris focuses on developing coaching talent and delivering essential training sessions. Additionally, Chris holds the position of Elite/Head Cycling Coach at LIVE Borders, where innovative cycling camps and training sessions are prioritized. A significant part of Chris's career includes working with British Cycling as a Coach Education Tutor, assessing and mentoring coaches. Chris has also contributed to youth cycling development as an HSBC GoRide Coach and has a strong background in educational initiatives aimed at enhancing skills and confidence in young people. With degrees from The Open University, Heriot-Watt University, and The University of Bolton, Chris possesses a solid foundation in sports and exercise science.
