Andrew Hannigan

Andrew Hannigan has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to the present. Andrew began their career as a Mathematics Tutor at Roger Williams University, providing one-on-one assistance and leading group review sessions. In 2014, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at The Raymond Corporation, where they handled non-standard customer requests and contributed to the development of analytical tools. In 2015, Andrew joined OpenLoop as a Suspension Lead, responsible for designing and optimizing the structure and subassemblies of the Hyperloop Pod. Since 2016, they have been working at Sportsfield Specialties, Inc. in various roles, starting as a Product Development Engineer and progressing to an Engineering Team Lead. Currently, Andrew holds the position of Director of Engineering at Sportsfield Specialties.

Andrew Hannigan earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Roger Williams University, which they attended from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they obtained the certification of Engineer In Training from NCEES. Continuing their education, they then pursued a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University from 2015 to 2016.
