Mike Damergis has a diverse work experience in the field of sports communication and production. Mike started their career in 1987 at Westwood One as a Desk-Assistant, Tape Editor, and Giants Post-Game Production Assistant. From 1991 to 1993, they worked as a Talk Show Production Assistant at ABC News. Mike then joined Rogers Communications FAN 590 in 1997 as a Producer and Reporter. In 2004, they worked as a WFAN 660 Sports-Talk Show Producer at CBS Sports. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at MLB Home Plate/MLB Network Radio/Fantasy Sports Radio as a Senior Sports Producer and Morning Anchor. In 2009, they served as a Game-Day Radio Producer for the New York Football Giants. Mike later joined Fox News Media as a Freelance Sports Anchor from 2017 to 2018. Since 2010, they have been associated with Iona University as a Senior Lecturer and Sports Communication Graduate Coordinator. Mike currently works at SportsGrid as a Digital Sports Content Creator and also as a Freelance TV/Radio Sports Host.
Mike Damergis earned a Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting/Advertising from Iona University, where they attended from 1985 to 1989. Mike later pursued a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Humber College between 1996 and 1998. Continuing their academic journey, Damergis completed a Master's of Science in Journalism from Iona University, completing their studies from 2004 to 2006.
