Sam Yarnell

Sam Yarnell has a diverse work experience in the sports media industry. Sam is currently working as a Content Creator at SportsGrid, where they produce, hosts, and edits various sports-related content with a focus on sports betting. Sam also holds the role of Producer/Editor for "The Sharp Report w/ Warren Sharp" at MGM National Harbor, where they build sets, produces, and edits on-site pre-tapes and live hits. Additionally, they serve as an Update Anchor for Pro Football today on the SportsGrid Network and Sirius/XM Ch. 159. Sam is also a Producer/Update Anchor for "Fantasy Sports Today," a weekly show discussing Fantasy Football. Prior to their current positions, Sam worked as a Producer/Editor for "The Pat McAfee Show."

Aside from their work in sports media, Sam has broadcasting experience as a Play-By-Play Broadcaster for The George Washington University. Sam also has past experience as an Executive Accounting/Compliance Intern at InFirst Federal Credit Union. Furthermore, Sam has held roles at Sports Beat, where they worked as a Host/Anchor, and at 88.7FM WRHU as an Associate Producer/Host/Anchor, where they covered collegiate and professional sports and provided play-by-play and color commentary.

Sam's early experience includes working as a Producer at their high school's TV station, The Daily Dispatch, where they had a leadership role in overseeing on-air content. Sam also worked as a Lead Sports Anchor at The Daily Dispatch and founded their own platform, Generals Radio, where they served as the Lead Talent.

Throughout their career, Sam has demonstrated a strong passion for sports media and broadcasting, showcasing their skills in various roles and gaining valuable experience in the industry.

Sam Yarnell attended Washington-Lee High School from 2014 to 2018. After completing high school, Sam went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree at Hofstra University from 2018 to 2022. Sam's degree was in Journalism with a concentration in Sports Media.
