A premier sporting goods retailer operating in Northwest Montana, Idaho and Washington state. Two small, robust companies that have withstood the tests of time came together in 2010. Crown Enterprises, Inc., operating the Sportsman Ski Haus, founded in 1968, with stores in Kalispell and Whitefish, Montana purchased Tri-State Outfitters, in business since 1946, headquartered in Moscow, Idaho, with locations also in Lewiston, and Couer D’Alene, Idaho, and Moses Lake, Washington. Together the stores employ around 275 people and present a palette of similarities and differences that offer choices from the best of both worlds. As of 2015, the stores are in an exciting phase with major updating and expansions completed or in process where needed, discovering daily how everything needs to work to optimize efforts and resources and developing an overall structure and plan for the future.
