Rick Smith

Rick Smith has a diverse work experience in accounting and auditing. Rick most recently served as the Director of Accounting at Sportsman's Warehouse since October 2021. Prior to that, they held roles as Controller and Assistant Controller at the same company. Rick has also worked as an Accounting Manager and Staff Accountant at Sportsman's Warehouse. Before joining the company, they gained experience as a Staff Auditor and Audit Intern at FJ & Associates, PLLC. Rick's career began as an Accounting Assistant at Focus Services, where they later became a Site Lead.

Rick Smith earned a Master's degree in Accounting from Weber State University in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution in 2015. In December 2019, Rick also became a Certified Public Accountant through the State of Utah Department of Professional Licensing.
