Shane Skelcy

Shane Skelcy is an experienced educator and support staff member currently serving as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Rochester Community Schools. In addition, Shane works as a Building Manager at Oakland Community College, overseeing equipment functionality and event scheduling. With a background that includes timing support roles for Sportstats and Spartan, as well as serving as a Logistics Coordinator for East Side Racing, Shane ensures smooth operations and positive experiences at sporting events. Previous teaching roles as a Building Substitute Teacher in both Rochester Community Schools and Lake Orion Community Schools reflect Shane's commitment to fostering strong connections within the educational environment. Shane holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Siena Heights University, alongside an education background from Oakland Community College and Rochester High School.
