Martin Wiklund began their career in 1995 as the Founder of IMW ITData, a company where they built and sold PC computers. In 1997, they began working as a Store Sales Associate and PC Builder at Stjärna Fyrkant, while also playing professional or semi-professional Football (soccer) for Umeå Football Club. In 1999, they joined Capgemini as an IT-Consultant. In 2003, they moved to Sogeti Sverige AB, where they served as a National Practice Manager for Microsoft Solutions, Principal Microsoft Solution Architect, and Solution Architect. In 2008, they became a Board Member for the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners (IAMCP) and Vice Chairman of the Board for Umeå Football Club. Martin also took on the role of Business Coach for IT startups at Uminova Innovation. In 2011, they joined the Advisory Board of NUITEQ, an award-winning multitouch technology startup. Finally, in 2012, Martin founded and became the CEO of Sportswik AB.
Martin Wiklund obtained a Bachelor in System Analysis from Umeå University between 1996 and 1999. Prior to that, they attended Kaplanskolan, Skellefteå from 1993 to 1996, majoring in Social Studies.
