Thomas Tichelman

Thomas Tichelman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of sports coaching and leadership. Thomas is currently working as an Assistant Coach for the Ladies National Field Hockey Team of the Netherlands at KNHB since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sports Leadership Institute as a Program & Curriculum Design specialist starting from 2020. In the same year, they co-founded SportsInQ, a company that designs and supervises leadership programs in high-performance environments using sports as a universal language. Thomas has also served as a Director/Co-Owner at SportWays since 1996, managing the growth of the organization's programs in Europe, Canada, Asia, and South Africa. Thomas has held various coaching roles at HGC HockeyClub, KNHB, HC Bloemendaal (Hockey Club Bloemendaal), and OIBIBIO throughout their career, contributing to national and men's hockey teams in the Netherlands.

From 1979 to 1984, Thomas Tichelman attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences. During this period, they pursued a B degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, and Sports Physiology.
